Emergent TV series, the name given to Emergents that debuted on the CW network in 2013, is currently one of the top-rated shows on the channel, averaging over 2.3 million total viewers per episode.
The series, written by Jason Mantzoukas and drawn by James A. Robinson, has a very unique premise, revolving around a woman who has to survive in a dystopian society, and the challenges that come with it.
The show’s main character, the “Emergent” named Emma (played by Mandy Patinkin), is the daughter of an industrialist who has been forced to become the most powerful woman on the planet by her boss.
Emergen has been around for a few seasons, and now has an average of 2.5 million total views per episode (with the show’s premiere on September 6).
The show has also been nominated for an Emmy Award, and has earned a very solid 5 Emmy nominations.
Emersons debut season also had a strong lead-in, in Season 3, which featured the arrival of the new show’s villain, the evil “Bonesman,” who took over the Emergens world.
Emergents first season received a BAFTA Award nomination for Outstanding Directing for an Emergency Series, and was nominated for a Drama Emmy Award.
Other Emergences that have made their mark on the show include the upcoming Emergenz, which follows a group of scientists who discover that the Emerson planet has been invaded by an alien species that has mutated their species, and will wipe out humanity in order to create a perfect society.
Emters series is set to debut on October 21.
